Every month, many of us spend money on things we barely think twice about. Streaming subscriptions. Coffee runs. Food delivery apps. Memberships we forgot we even had.

Most of those things make life a little more convenient. Few of them truly change a life.

That is why monthly giving matters to me.

At H.O.P.E., Inc., monthly support does more than cover a bill. It helps keep a single mother enrolled in college when life says she should quit. It helps provide childcare so she can make it to class. It helps keep lights on, groceries in the refrigerator, and hope alive during some of the hardest seasons a family will ever face.

And the impact does not stop with her.

Everything changes when a single parent becomes the first in her family to graduate from college.

Children watch their mother walk across a stage and begin to believe they can too. Cycles of poverty begin to break. Income changes. Stability changes. Futures change.

We have seen mothers move from surviving to thriving. We have seen children who once lived in uncertainty now grow up in homes filled with possibility.

That kind of transformation does not happen overnight. It happens month by month. One act of generosity at a time.

Maybe you are someone who says, “I just do not want another monthly obligation.”

Honestly, many of us already have them.

The question is whether one of those monthly commitments could also become part of changing a family’s future.

Not because it is flashy.

But because it matters.
