A nonprofit that supports single parents in reaching their educational and economic goals is a finalist for the 2025 Bill Bolling Nonprofit Leader Award.
Duluth-based H.O.P.E. Inc. was recently named a finalist for the award. The honor is part of the annual TechBridge Award Series, which celebrates organizations focused on technology innovation and equity across the nonprofit sector.
H.O.P.E. Inc. — which stands for Helping Other People be Empowered —provides financial support and assistance to single parents of low-income households pursuing education and working toward financial stability.
The Bill Bolling Nonprofit Leader Award is named after Bill Bolling, founder of the Atlanta Community Food Bank and longtime advocate for equity and social change.
Finalist organizations demonstrate visionary leadership, measurable impact, and a commitment to advancing economic mobility for underserved communities, a statement said.
“We are honored to be recognized among the finalists for this prestigious award,” said Kenita Smith, CEO of H.O.P.E. Inc. “… We believe that education and opportunity shouldn’t be out of reach for any parent willing to work for a better life. This nomination underscores the incredible progress our team and the families we serve are making every day.”
Winners of the 2025 TechBridge Award Series will be announced at an event in Atlanta later this year.
