Christian Lynn, a 29-year-old mother of five, is pursuing her bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of West Georgia while balancing work and family responsibilities. As a single mom managing multiple children, including one with special developmental needs, Christian faced challenges in providing stability, budgeting, and supporting her household on limited income. 

Christian began college in early 2015 studying Early Childhood Education but took a two-year break during her junior year when she became pregnant. During that time, she realized her true passion was nursing. Before H.O.P.E., she worked part-time at Amazon and PRN positions, living paycheck to paycheck, and relied on weekly funds from her children's father while pursuing court-ordered child support. She struggled to find financial stability and support for her growing family, making it difficult to focus on her education and career goals. 

Christian needed support to maintain stable housing, cover childcare, manage transportation, and provide food and essentials for her five children. With the responsibilities of a large family and limited income, she risked pausing her education and feeling stuck in her situation despite her dedication to nursing.

H.O.P.E. provided Christian with extensive support that transformed her ability to care for her family and pursue her degree. She received over $5,200 in rent assistance, $3,600 in childcare support, $1,325 in food assistance, and additional help totaling thousands of dollars for transportation, youth program fees, essential items, and school resources including an iPad. Beyond financial aid, she received donated diapers, wipes, menstrual products, and Christmas gifts for her children. This support gave Christian the security and confidence to focus on her nursing degree while ensuring her children were cared for and her home remained stable. H.O.P.E. met her where she was, providing reassurance and dignity that allowed her to make progress in areas where she once felt stuck, showing her that she wasn't alone even while navigating life as a single mother of five.
