Antesha, a thirty-four-year-old, single mother of four in Decatur, Georgia applied for H.O.P.E, Inc.’s program after fleeing a domestic violence situation and enrolling herself into American Intercontinental University (AIU) to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science in Criminal Justice.
Client Need: Eboni
Eboni is a twenty-six-year-old, single female single mother of a handsome son in Atlanta, Georgia. Eboni contacted H.O.P.E. Inc. for childcare assistance to better provide for her son, while she also sought to pursue her college studies.
Client Need: Laverne
Laverne is a fifty-year-old, single female single mother of five in Jonesboro, Georgia. Laverne contacted H.O.P.E. Inc. for rent after struggling month-to-month to pay her rent as she attended Georgia Perimeter (now Georgia State University) for her Associates degree in Education.
Client Need: Ya’Kima
Ya’Kimais a thirty-six year old, single mother of two young girls. She contacted H.O.P.E. Inc. for financial assistance to better provide for her daughter’s as she fought depression and pursued her college studies.
Client Need: Melodie
Melodie is a twenty-nine year old, single mother of two beautiful girls. She contacted H.O.P.E. Inc. for financial assistance with childcare when she didn’t have anywhere to turn.
Client Need: Michelle (on the right)
Michelle is a forty-five year old, single female who lives with her two twin daughters fourteen-years old in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Michelle suffered great financial hardship due to working 25 hours a week at a Belk’s retail store making $9 hours, while diligently working to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (BSW) at Georgia State University. Her required internship schedule made it very difficult to find full-time employment and she was at her wits end. Her low income made it very difficult to pay rent monthly.
Client Need: Melissa
Melissa is a thirty-year old, single female who lives with her five-year old daughter. Melissa contacted H.O.P.E. Inc. for financial assistance due to the fact that she had to switch from full-time to part-time employment because of her college studies and internship schedule. Her recently reduced income was making it difficult for her to financially provide for her daughter, while she worked part-time, attended college and interned, leading her to experience additional issues with childcare and scheduling conflicts.

Chasity is a twenty-seven year old, single female who lives with her young daughter in Snellville, Georgia. Chasity contacted H.O.P.E. Inc. for financial assistance to better provide for her daughter as she sought to pursue her college studies.

Megan* is a thirty-four years old, single mom who lives with her two children in, Rex Georgia. Megan* contacted H.O.P.E. Inc. for rent assistance to avoid eviction as she sought to pursue her college studies.

Tamika is a thirty-six years old, single mom who lives with her five children in, Loganville Georgia. Tamika contacted H.O.P.E. Inc. for rent assistance after graduating of Rainbow Village’s transitional housing program, she contacted us with desires to complete her education.
